Job summary

Datavant is seeking an entry-level Release Of Information processor in Laredo, TX to handle patient health information requests, ensure HIPAA compliance, and deliver high quality service. This onsite role focuses on processing ROI requests, safeguarding privacy, and maintaining accurate medical records across paper and electronic sources.

You will work standard hours with phone and front desk support, gain training, and receive company equipment and full benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to commute between locations as needed.
• Able to work overtime during peak seasons when required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Maintain working knowledge of company software.
• Adhere to conduct policies and HIPAA regulations.
