Job summary

GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Risk Management Quality Analyst to support the organization’s patient safety program. The role monitors safety events, assists with incident investigations, analyzes trends, and coordinates corrective actions to reduce harm and liability exposure.

Collaboration with clinical practices and corporate teams promotes a culture of safety and improves reporting processes. Requirements include a BSN and 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience; healthcare risk

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare risk management or quality improvement required.
• Strong knowledge of patient safety principles and risk management practices.
• Experience handling complaints, service recovery, or difficult conversations with patients/families is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review patient safety events, incident reports, and near misses; identify trends and escalate risks.
• Perform preliminary data analysis on safety and risk metrics; assist in dashboards and reports.
• Participate in incident investigations; collect data and prepare concise summaries.
• Support root cause analyses and corrective action tracking.
• Collaborate with clinical and corporate teams to ensure timely follow-up of events.
• Assist in evaluating complaints and claims to identify issues and improvements.
• Maintain accuracy of risk management databases and reporting systems.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Support staff education and policy/material updates related to risk management.
