Job summary

Adventist Health in The Dalles, Oregon seeks a Risk Management professional to support the department’s program goals. You will initiate and review events in the Event Reporting System, triage grievances, and provide administrative support to the Risk Management Director.

You will collaborate with Risk Management, Claims, Legal, Patient Safety, and Regulatory teams to assess risks, preserve evidence, coordinate testimony, and help train staff on risk prevention and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in healthcare-related field is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Two years' clinical or risk management experience in healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and manages actual and potential risks to the organization and reviews event reporting and grievances.
• Acts as a liaison to assess risk exposures with clinical teams and other stakeholders.
• Coordinates evidence preservation, deposition readiness, and supports legal reviews.
• Supports data analysis to identify priority topics for risk prevention and training.
