Job summary

UnisLink is seeking a Revenue Cycle Management Specialist in Phoenix, AZ to ensure timely processing of accounts receivable transactions in healthcare billing. You will optimize revenue streams, maintain provider relationships, and resolve denials with proactive problem solving.

Role requires 3-5 years in physician billing, Medicaid experience in AZ, and strong analytical and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in physician billing denials, appeals, and insurance follow-up.
• AZ Medicaid experience is required.
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end claim cycle from submission to AR.
• Ability to apply contract language to denial appeal logic.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with Hyderabad transactional teams to support account performance.
• Create and submit claims for medical services to insurers and patients.
• Obtain documentation (EOBs, remits, authorizations) via email, scanning systems, or Medicare remittance systems.
• Review denied claims for appropriate coding and initiate corrections as needed.
• Monitor aging reports for timely follow-up on unpaid claims.
• Document claim actions and resolutions in patient accounts.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality in all financial and medical information.
