Job summary

Cedar Point Health in Montrose, CO seeks a Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee billing, coding, AR, and audits within the Finance department. This exempt, in-person role reports to the Director of Finance and leads the Medical Billing Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and at least 5 years in healthcare revenue cycle, with strong EMR and revenue cycle software skills. Travel within 75 miles may be requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, accounts receivable, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue cycle operations, including staff management, payer relations, coding, billing, claims management, AR, and audits.
• Train, develop and manage staff; promote a collaborative, accountable team environment.
• Maintain monthly revenue cycle dashboards with KPIs, production, AR activity, and collection performance.
• Collaborate with Director of Finance and EMR vendor to improve data mining and reporting tools.
• Identify trends and recommend improvements to improve cash flow and bad debt reduction.
