Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking an exceptional System Vice President, Revenue Cycle, to lead the strategic financial health and operational effectiveness of the revenue cycle across its system.

The role focuses on developing innovative strategies to optimize revenue capture, ensure regulatory compliance, and elevate patient experience while guiding cross-functional teams and engaging CFOs, CMOs, and IT leadership to drive scalable improvements.

Qualifications

• Masters in Healthcare, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or closely related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Ten (10) years of experience in revenue cycle or related field.
• Seven (7) years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Change Management: Lead cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to drive organizational change.
• Revenue Cycle Optimization: Direct end-to-end revenue cycle operations from patient access to collections.
• Financial & Analytical Oversight: Analyze financial data and KPIs to build business cases and ensure compliance.
• Vendor & Contract Governance: Manage outsourced providers and contracts with SLAs and accountability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership and committees to align revenue cycle goals.
• Operational Execution: Utilize project management and EHR proficiency to deliver high-quality outcomes.
