Job summary

Lake Health District seeks a Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee data collection and analysis of the organization's revenue and financial activities. You will lead the business office operations, including patient accounting, billing, and payer coordination.

The role requires experience with electronic health records, regulatory knowledge, and a focus on staff training and development to strengthen the revenue cycle team.

Qualifications

• Degree in business or related field required.
• Five years' experience in business operation of a medical facility/clinic preferred.
• Three to five years' supervisory experience with day-to-day staff activities and evaluations required.
• Experience with electronic health record systems required.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, workers' compensation and commercial insurance billing practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and processing of collecting and organizing analytical data related to revenue, sales, and financial activities.
• Manage personnel and daily operations of all business office functions (patient accounting, billing, switchboard, third-party payors, data entry, credit and collections).
• Plan, approve, and supervise deployment of systems and processes to manage and analyze financial data and records.
• Create, maintain and administer training programs for the patient access and revenue cycle team to increase knowledge and skills.
