Qualifications

• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school; bar admission in at least one state.
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare-related legal experience.
• Knowledge of FDA advertising and promotional regulations; Anti-Kickback Statute; Stark Law; False Claims Act; HIPAA; Medicare Advantage; Medicaid; CMS; OIG Guidance; value-based contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad-based advice to support the healthcare law function, including topics like Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, HIPAA, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, CMS, OIG Guidance, DHHS.
• Provide transactional and general legal support to commercial, development, clinical, and medical affairs areas.
• Interact with company leaders, government agencies, law firms, trade organizations, and external agencies.
• Review and oversee a variety of contracts in commercial, clinical, and operational areas.
• Identify legal risks and balance legal issues with business objectives.
• Support legal due diligence for healthcare M&A activities.
