Job summary

Openwork Health is seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter to build relationships with clinicians and support a fast-paced staffing operation. You’ll drive candidate sourcing, screening, and placement for local per diem and contract opportunities.

You’ll guide new hires through onboarding, coordinate with Credentialing, and maintain a strong candidate pipeline. A collaborative, candidate-focused approach helps us deliver exceptional service every day.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting or staffing in an agency setting preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and eager to learn.
• Positive attitude, coachable and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and hire healthcare professionals for local per diem and contract opportunities.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and other channels.
• Screen candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and fit.
• Guide new hires through onboarding, including paperwork, credential verification, and compliance.
• Partner with Credentialing to ensure background checks, drug screens, and documentation are completed prior to activation.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals for current and future needs.
• Stay in regular contact with candidates to keep them engaged and informed.
• Collaborate with Staffing team to understand hiring priorities and upcoming needs.
• Prepare candidate submission packets for Staffing team to present for contract opportunities.
• Conduct new hire orientation and ensure smooth transition to Staffing Specialist after onboarding.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in our systems.
• Represent Openwork Health professionally and provide an exceptional candidate experience.

• Maintain accurate candidate records and documentation in our systems
• Represent Openwork Health professionally and provide an exceptional candidate experience
