Generations Healthcare's Smith Ranch Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in San Rafael is seeking a Receptionist for a full-time schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility to work weekends. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of clerical experience.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members and the public.
• Must type at least 35 words per minute and use a word processor.
• Must be proficient with basic computer tasks and input/retrieval of data.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow reception schedule from supervisor and policies.
• Operate paging/telephone system as required.
• Answer phones, determine nature of call and direct caller to appropriate individual or department.
• Maintain a current file/listing of residents by name and room number, on-call personnel, department extensions, key personnel, etc.
• Receive inquiries and release information in accordance with policies.
• Background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening required.
