Job summary

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license (or compact) – must obtain Virginia licensure within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification required within 7 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration.
• 5+ years experience in Acute Care.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• At least 1 year of project management/quality improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all quality and process improvement initiatives, monitoring unit-level quality metrics.
• Ensure regulatory readiness through assessment and implementation of quality measures.
• Direct and evaluate departmental operations affecting patient care, IT, service levels and complaint management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and integrate evidence-based practices into operations.
