Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking a Quality Mgmt Specialist to support the Quality Management department through project planning, development, implementation, and policy adherence for NCQA and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on data-driven improvements and collaboration with stakeholders.

The candidate should have 5 years in health care business experience, with preference for experience in managed care and SAS/SQL coding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Requires five (5) years professional business experience in a health care environment.
• Five (5) years managed care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop project initiatives, processes and performance measures for Quality Management.
• Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic goals.
• Assist budgeting, cost containment and planning for systemic enhancements.
• Collaborate with management to improve health plan quality ratings.
• Provide CAHPS coaching to Horizon providers to improve member experience.
• Interpret member experience data and develop provider improvement action plans.
