Regional West Medical Center in SCOTTSBLUFF, NE is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Materials Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. You’ll help ensure medical supplies, equipment, and services are purchased efficiently and delivered on time to support patient care.

Your day includes reviewing orders, coordinating with vendors, maintaining item records, and supporting Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies. A stable healthcare environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a supply chain-related role (healthcare preferred).
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong math, organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase orders and inventory needs; prioritize orders.
• Process purchase orders for medical supplies, equipment, and services.
• Maintain item master records and monitor purchasing data in supply chain systems.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding backorders, delays, and pricing discrepancies.
• Assist Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Ensure purchasing activities follow organizational policies and documentation; support recalls and standardization initiatives.
• Monitor spending trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
