Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to streamline requisitions, purchase orders and inventory across departments. You will negotiate with vendors and maintain stock levels to ensure uninterrupted patient care at the Round Rock facility.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2–3 years hospital purchasing experience, and strong analytical skills to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years hospital supply and purchasing management experience.
• Ability to analyze situations, make informed decisions, and meet deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process hospital and departmental requisitions and purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels as per hospital procedures while controlling supplies and equipment for all hospital departments.
• Negotiate prices and contracts with outside vendors as required.
• Order medical and clinical supplies for the hospital.
• Oversee the purchase order process for hospital supplies.
