Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with architectural/engineering teams to prepare project documents focused on transportation.
- Perform initial design phases and detailed architectural design work, collaborating with various disciplines, clients, and consultants.
- Prepare architectural plans and supervise their execution.
- Analyze design and construction systems, conduct planning studies, and develop design layouts and construction details.
- Research and write specifications, coordinating with manufacturers.
- Conduct site and construction inspections, preparing reports.
- Execute code analysis, select materials, and develop technical solutions.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and manage project timelines and work scope.
Required Experience
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B. Arch) required; MS and registration preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Junior Architectural Designer in Healthcare/Life Science sectors.
- RA certification preferred but not required.
- Experience in transportation sector preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Experience with Rhino, 3-D Max, SketchUp, LEED accreditation are pluses.
- Strong design, technical detailing, and presentation skills essential.
- Self-starter with problem-solving passion, teamwork focus, and client-oriented mindset.
Essential Duties
- Define technical approach and design criteria with multiple disciplines.
- Collaborate with architectural team under leadership.
- Develop design details, plans, and specifications.
- Utilize software to solve complex architectural problems.
- Contribute innovative designs and techniques.
- Stay current with codes and technologies like IBC, NFPA.
- Ensure compliance with standards, codes, and practices.
- Perform job functions safely and consistently.
Compensation Range: $91,314.21 - $121,752.28
