Job summary

Publicis Groupe is seeking an Assistant Account Executive for its Consumer practice in New York. The role anchors on one of the agency’s largest CPG accounts, supporting the development and execution of PR plans and day-to-day activities, including media coverage and influencer campaigns.

You will work in an integrated model with agency partners, driving creative thinking for campaigns and helping to move work forward with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field.
• 0–1 year of PR experience, consumer experience preferred.
• Ability to manage projects and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interest in consumer, influencer and media trends.
• Excellent writing, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking and proactivity.
• Microsoft 365 including Excel and PowerPoint knowledge a plus.
• Strong verbal communication skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Participate in client calls, developing call agendas and reports, and project timelines.
• Stay on top of culture and media; contribute to ideation and program development.
• Assist in creating media materials including pitches, press releases, bios, and media lists.
• Support budget trackers and financial processes for client programs.
• Conduct research for plan creation with internal research/culture teams.
• Compile earned media recaps and client reports; support admin items.
