Job summary

Ruder Finn, a leading global communications agency, is seeking an Account Executive to join its Healthcare Practice in New York. You will support campaigns that drive disease awareness, amplify milestones, and shape conversations across the healthcare landscape.

You will work with senior leaders and integrated teams to manage day-to-day activity, contribute ideas, and execute programs that meet client goals. The role offers growth, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Communications or Public Relations; healthcare/pharma preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
• Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of the MLR process, including using platforms such as Veeva
• Understanding of data/regulatory processes (clinical trial phases, FDA approvals)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Curiosity with AI tools in communications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Team-oriented and ownership mindset

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content including press releases, social media and blog posts, pitch letters, fact sheets, speeches, presentations, and client correspondence
• Develop understanding of client business and competitive environments
• Create thumb-stopping social media content and understand social media guidance for platforms
• Collaborate with studio and creative teams to develop content
• Conduct media relations, monitor media, flag trends, build media lists, and conduct media outreach
• Support daily client interactions and collaborate to meet client objectives and deadlines
