BRG’s Healthcare Transactions and Strategy (HTS) practice seeks a Policy Analyst to support Washington, DC-based policy teams. You will use research and quantitative analysis to inform policy development, evaluate proposals, and assess implications for stakeholders.

The role blends qualitative and quantitative work with a focus on Medicare, Medicaid, and reimbursement. The analyst translates complex questions into practical research plans, interprets results, and develops evidence-based client

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, public health, economics, or a related field is required.
• A relevant graduate degree is preferred.
• Minimum of four years of healthcare consulting or policy research experience.
• Demonstrated experience conducting quantitative research or data analysis for healthcare policy.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicaid and their data sources.
• Experience interpreting regulations and explaining practical implications.

Responsabilidades

• Research and interpret federal and state healthcare legislation, regulations, and payment policies for clients.
• Support policy development by evaluating options and generating evidence-based recommendations.
• Define evidence needs, select datasets, and assess effects on spending, utilization, and access.
• Develop data analytics specifications and collaborate with analysts on methods and results.
• Conduct analyses quantifying impact of policy changes on providers, payers, and government spending.
• Develop Excel-based models to evaluate payment methodologies and compare scenarios.
• Prepare client-ready presentations and summaries of findings for internal teams and clients.
