Payment Posting Analyst
Role Summary:

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with established payment posting internal control procedures by examining charges, reports, operating practices, and documentation. The analyst completes audits by documenting audit tests and findings and presenting them to management.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure compliance with established payment posting internal control procedures.
  2. Monitor reports designed to identify discrepancies.
  3. Prepare and provide detailed and summarized reporting of audit findings.
  4. Present audit findings to management.
  5. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending department meetings.
  6. Improve quality by recommending changes to management based on findings and identifying root causes.
  7. Contribute to team results by exploring new opportunities to add value to the department.
  8. Implement process improvements, including new quality assurance reports.
  9. Test and validate process improvements.
  10. Identify persistent error trends and report these to management.
  11. Correct and/or supervise correction of audit findings within 5 business days.
  12. Perform other responsibilities as instructed by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, analytics, or related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Greenway Practice Analytics, Greenway Intergy, Monarch.
  • Experience in healthcare revenue cycle.
