Job summary

Zelis is seeking an Implementation Specialist to support the Implementation Team for healthcare payer clients. This role involves configuring the Zelis system for print and electronic communications and assisting in the delivery of EOBs, letters, checks, and ID cards across paper and electronic channels.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with product, engineering, and client IT, apply problem-solving skills, and contribute to client training and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree preferred, CS/engineering or technical degree a plus.
• 2-3 years in Healthcare Industry experience
• Previous Customer Service experience
• Knowledge of healthcare claims communication process and printing aspects
• Knowledge of data normalization and data integrity; troubleshoot data flows
• Experience with implementation timelines and client rollouts
• Translate between client requirements and technical execution
• Strong documentation habits and cross-functional communication
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, Smartsheet, or similar tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet, Email)

Responsibilities

• Provide software-related custom integration and implementation support to move new Zelis customers to live status.
• Apply Zelis product knowledge to address client needs.
• Learn client technical system, software, and print/electronic communications processes.
• Communicate with clients for requirements, status updates, and calls.
• Develop and manage the implementation project plan.
• Gather client requirements on print and employer group data.
• Redesign client communications using Zelis base format.
• Keep Manager informed of activities and issues promptly.
• Customize explanations of benefits, checks, and ID cards per Zelis processes.
• Manage multiple implementations with prioritization.
• Ramp up to 100% of customers’ business on Zelis.
• Potential client visits; some travel.
• Adhere to HIPAA, Compliance & Security policies.
