We are a busy, well-established plaintiff-side medical malpractice firm based in Southfield, MI. Our mission is to deliver justice for victims of medical negligence with integrity, compassion, and excellence. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Nurse Paralegal to join our growing team. This position is a remote position Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Position Overview:
As a Nurse Paralegal, you will play a critical role in evaluating and building strong medical malpractice cases. You’ll work closely with our attorneys, other nurse paralegals, and expert witnesses to ensure we are well-prepared to advocate for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze complex medical records to identify potential negligence and liability

  • Conduct preliminary case evaluations to assess merit and viability

  • Prepare detailed chronologies and summaries of medical care and treatment

  • Research and interpret relevant medical literature

  • Draft Notices of Intent

  • Identify and coordinate communication with potential expert witnesses

Qualifications:

  • RN license with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience

  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training/experience

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
