The Paralegal position provides legal support for administrative programs, including researching regulatory and compliance matters, preparing documents for internal and external correspondence, performing due diligence to support business development, reviewing and summarizing contractual documents, and maintaining credentialing and licensing documents, filings, and records for PHS entities.
This position requires managing multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, exercising initiative and judgment in both administrative and legal matters.
5-7 years of experience as a paralegal, including at least 3 years in healthcare with knowledge of healthcare law, Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, and regulatory licensing (multistate preferred).
Highly attentive to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills. Clear, concise, and logical writing style.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Ability to work independently, exercise self-direction, and manage priorities to meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to work with diverse constituencies and develop rapport at all organizational levels.
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program is required.
Pediatric Home Service has provided high-quality DME and nursing services to medically fragile children since 1990, enabling clients to thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. Our clients are primarily children from birth through 21 years old with technologies like trachs, ventilators, or g-tubes.
