Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Portland, OR is seeking a skilled painting technician to support a multi-building healthcare campus.

You will apply varnish, polyurethane, primer, and other coatings, repair imperfections, and protect surfaces to keep facilities well-maintained. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, preparing and cleaning job sites, ensuring tools are cleaned and stored, and following health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2–4 years of related experience.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, lifting 50 lbs+).
• Ability to analyze information and exercise judgment.
• Willingness to adopt new approaches to existing solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Use tools to apply coatings like varnish, polyurethane, primer, and other coatings.
• Repair imperfections; mask, prepare, and protect surfaces.
• Load, unload, and prepare job sites, materials, and tools.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas for safety.
• Review work orders; estimate time and order materials and tools.
• Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned, stored, and maintained.
• Participate in required HSE programs and report safety concerns.
• Lead by example and support CBRE RISE values.
