Withum’s Outsourced Accounting Systems and Services (OASyS) team seeks an Outsourced Accounting Manager - Healthcare in a hybrid-based role across multiple offices including Buffalo, NY. You will lead engagements, mentor staff, and deliver high-quality financial operations for healthcare clients.

You’ll oversee AP, payroll, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting while partnering with client leadership to drive improvements and ensure timely, accurate financials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA preferred and/or MBA equivalent.
• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and/or QuickBooks Online; Excel proficiency.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead client engagements and oversee a team delivering outsourced accounting services.
• Oversee accounts payable workflows and vendor/contractor payments.
• Review payroll processing and filings in collaboration with client HR/payroll.
• Lead month-end close with journal entries, reconciliations, and GL.
• Review journal entries and confirm supporting detail.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and variances.
• Prepare/ review monthly financial reporting packages and KPI dashboards.
• Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and performance analytics.
• Partner with client leadership as primary contact; communicate status and risks.
• Coordinate external reviews and audits; manage auditor requests.
• Evaluate internal controls; streamline close and reporting processes.
• Oversee AR and revenue processes with billing teams; review AR aging and revenue inputs.
• Maintain provider/location reporting and management reporting needs.
