Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Strategic Project Lead, MD/Health to own projects end-to-end from pipeline framing through execution and delivery.

You will translate customer needs into actionable specifications for Health and Medicine workflows, design domain-specific pipelines for usability, quality, and scalability, and align domain experts for rapid deployment.

You will set milestones, drive cadence, and manage client communications to ensure clear, direct updates and timely delivery.

Position: Strategic Project Lead, MD/Health

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $400K - $550K/yr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end from pipeline framing and scoping through execution and delivery.
• Translate customer needs into clear, actionable project specifications for Health and Medicine workflows.

Requirements

• MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Strong experience in medicine, healthcare, clinical practice, medical research, or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills when working with senior healthcare and medical experts.
• Strong ownership, urgency, and attention to detail.
• Startup or entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward execution.
• Strong experience leading complex projects, operational workflows, or healthcare-related initiatives.
• Ability to translate ambiguous customer requirements into clear plans and execute rapidly in a fast-paced environment.
