Job summary

DelRicht Research is seeking an Healthcare Operations Manager to lead a growing clinical data team across multiple sites. You will coach staff, oversee performance, and ensure operational excellence as study pipelines expand.

The role emphasizes recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining high standards for accuracy, timeliness, and quality, with cross-department collaboration and audit readiness as core responsibilities. This on-site position supports Uptown New Orleans operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Minimum three years of professional experience.
• At least one year of progressive people management or team lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Build workload planning and prioritization practices to enable timely study execution.
• Establish a performance management framework with coaching, reviews, and accountability.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage permanent and temporary staff to align with study pipeline.
• Create training opportunities to raise coordinator proficiency and readiness for greater responsibilities.
• Embed data quality and audit readiness in daily operations through EDC oversight and QA partnerships.
• Address recurring quality challenges through cross-department problem solving and targeted site training.

Healthcare Operations Manager's Main Objective:

As the founding on-site manager of a growing clinical data team, you’ll establish development opportunities to support DelRicht's rapid expansion. The right candidate will execute leadership responsibility beyond task-based-oversight; the Manager will leverage past leadership experience to coach employees to deliver strong performance, manage cross-department collaboration, and ensure audit readiness across our clinical trial portfolio. The Manager will:

• Build workload planning and prioritization practices that enable accurate, timely execution as study demands evolve.
• Establish a consistent performance management framework, connecting clear expectations, individualized coaching, formal reviews, and meaningful accountability.
• Shape a team that can grow with the study pipeline through effective recruitment, onboarding, and management of permanent and limited-term hires.
• Create structured training and development opportunities that strengthen coordinator proficiency and prepare employees for greater responsibility.
• Embed data quality and audit readiness into daily operations through electronic data capture oversight and partnership with Quality Assurance and Central Study Management.
• Turn recurring quality challenges into lasting improvements through cross-department problem solving, targeted site training, and verified resolution.

Skills Needed to Win:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least three years of professional working experience
• At least one year of progressive people management or team lead experience, with exposure to: hiring, performance management, talent development, termination decisions, timekeeping, among other management responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands, resolve operational problems, and translate plans into results.
• Exemplary communication skills and a demonstrated ability to motivate teams while delivering constructive feedback.
• Experience in healthcare, clinical research, or clinical data entry is a plus!

Job Type: Full-Time, 40+ hours per week

Location: On-site in Uptown, New Orleans

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
