Tufts Medical Center offers an Administrative Fellow program designed to accelerate careers in healthcare operations through experiential learning and rotations across core business functions. The 13‑month fellowship provides access to mentorship, executive shadowing, and leadership development resources.

The program emphasizes projects across diverse settings, with opportunities to contribute to strategic initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and advance patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Completion of Master's degree program in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or Public Health.
• Candidates who have finished coursework, but are required to complete a fellowship to graduate, are also eligible.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct operational analyses to improve facility efficiency, resource allocation and workflow.
• Assist budget development, track expenses and financial reporting.
• Contribute to strategic planning and execution of organizational initiatives.
• Analyze healthcare data and KPIs to inform patient care and operational decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects across departments to meet milestones.
• Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
• Assist in developing and updating training programs for administrative staff.
• Engage with community partners and vendor relationships as needed.
