Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum required: Four (4) years of experience in Materials Management or Two (2) years formal leadership experience in any function.
• Preferred: Bachelor degree and 2 years experience in Healthcare.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, counsels, disciplines, assigns, and monitors work; trains, orients, and evaluates assigned personnel.
• Promotes BMHCC vision/values through personal example and interaction with staff and ensures compliance with BMHCC policies and procedures.
• Analyzes department operations, identifies opportunities for cost reductions and enhanced efficiency.
• Directs overall operation of materials management departments and works with staff and customers to enhance efficiency and quality of service.
• Maintains good working relationship with all hospital departments by providing service and open communication.
• Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.
