Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Materials Handler at Burlington Hospital to receive, verify, and distribute medical supplies and equipment. The role involves standing and walking most of the day, operating a Material Management System, and using handheld devices. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with no weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and inspect items before signing for delivery.
• Maintain accurate records for receipt, storage and distribution of supplies.
• Prepare, distribute and transport supplies and equipment to facilities or departments as needed.
• Distribute supplies in response to requisitions and purchase orders.
• Manage inventory levels and perform issues/credits for materials.
• Replenish and maintain carts, trays and kits; check for outdated items.
• Prepare and initiate returns to vendors per documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and security in all work areas.
