Henry Ford Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a dependable Materials Handler to ensure departments have supplies and equipment to provide exceptional care. This full-time role is Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM with no weekends, serving the Greater Detroit Metro area.

Responsibilities include receiving and distributing supplies, stocking storerooms, maintaining two weeks of inventory, and coordinating with Materials Management for purchases and equipment maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Previous materials management, warehouse, supply chain, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Receive and distribute all incoming supplies and equipment with proper department signatures.
• Stock central storeroom rotating stock and nursing unit supply rooms; tag chargeable items.
• Maintain inventory level of at least two weeks; forward supply requisitions to Materials Management.
• Maintain copy room supplies (paper, toner, copier/fax).
• Coordinate medical equipment sent out for repairs and recording as needed.
• Ensure proper document flow from other departments to Materials Management for purchase.
• Coordinate yearly inventory taking of all supplies.
• Order, charge and return specialty beds; manage patient rental equipment requests.
• Send patient charge cards to receptionist for batching.
