Position Overview

The Manager, Interoperability, leads a team responsible for building, implementing, and supporting integrations that facilitate data exchange between Epic and third-party vendors for clinical data flow.

Essential Duties

  • Manage staff across various levels through their employment lifecycle, including recruitment, training, development, rewards, recognition, and performance coaching.
  • Provide coaching and support continuous learning relevant to staff roles.
  • Coordinate team objectives, resources, tasks, and projects, tracking productivity and schedules against goals.
  • Align team goals with OCHIN’s strategic direction and organizational objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to standards, policies, procedures, and service level agreements, with clear status reporting processes.
  • Proactively analyze portfolios for risks and issues, recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met and escalate when at risk.
  • Maintain and optimize team procedures, templates, and tools.
  • Build strong relationships with members and staff, negotiating difficult conversations with trust and respect.
  • Partner with organizational leaders to optimize work, projects, and programs.
  • Participate in committee meetings to promote operational excellence.
  • Safeguard intellectual property and confidentiality, including disaster recovery procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for seamless implementations and stabilization for members.
  • Oversee interoperability processes and functions, ensuring reliability and stability.
  • Stay informed on interoperability trends and align with OCHIN’s roadmap.
  • Innovate to create value and optimize workflows.
  • Identify methods and solutions for growth and efficiency.
  • Review ticket metrics, SLAs, and documentation to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Assign resources for interoperability projects.
  • Collaborate with leadership and architects for standards and process alignment.
  • Communicate team outcomes, best practices, and performance metrics.
  • Resolve escalations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
