Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required; Master's preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years progressive business and decision support experience.
• Working knowledge of a health care EMR such as Epic/Clarity; a payor.
• Knowledge of NY Medicaid and CMS Medicare regulations and related reporting requirements.
• Strong data mining skills using SQL, R, Python, SAS, Java/MapReduce, Aster, etc.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, prepares, and reconciles basic organizational data for management review and decision making.
• Prepares monthly or quarterly reports and presentations as required.
• Advances the organization’s ability to meet key strategic initiatives.
• Updates monthly metrics and reports trends.
• Assists in preparation of basic feasibility studies and business plans for new developments.
• Documents current operations and may provide recommendations on new procedures.
• Prepares diagrams to illustrate operations and presents findings.
• Assists in Market Research, Demand and Supply Analyses, and Demographic Studies for senior leadership decisions.
• May track research grants and prepare density and grants analysis.
• Monitors project timelines and budgets.
• Performs other duties as required.
