Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 for the US healthcare sector to drive requirements, design discussions, coding, testing, and deployment of legacy and modern applications. You will coordinate onshore/offshore teams, manage testing strategies, and ensure quality across the SDLC.

The role emphasizes strong collaboration, hands-on coding, test planning, and production issue resolution within a global delivery environment, with relocation/travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare systems covering claims, provider network, member, plan, and contracting domains.
• Experience with Mainframe testing using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Experience coordinating stakeholders and managing end-to-end testing deliverables.
• Experience defining testing strategies and driving test execution.
• Experience with requirement analysis, test design, and test planning.
• Experience with SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with defect management and test reporting.
• Experience coordinating onsite and offshore delivery teams.
• Experience with client-facing testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects
