Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC is seeking a healthcare-focused Managing Director to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence across the US, collaborating with PE-backed and strategic buyers. You will steer PEO engagements, refine enterprise-value insights, and drive client conversations from inception through close.

The role requires extensive healthcare deal experience, GAAP fluency, and strong analytic skills, with travel up to 15% as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field; advanced degree or CPA/CFA preferred.
15+ years in professional services with 10+ years healthcare due diligence with providers/payors.
Strong GAAP, data analysis/mining and critical thinking skills.
Experience with Private Equity groups preferred.
Willingness to travel as needed (<15%).

Responsibilities

Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side accounting and financial due diligence engagements.
Develop relationships with clients and interact with target company executives.
Perform quality of earnings and working capital analyses.
Identify matters impacting enterprise value and purchase/sales price.
Evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies.
Communicate due diligence findings clearly, verbally and in writing.
Supervise multiple professionals and serve as hands-on lead from inception to completion.
Participate in performance reviews and new business development activities.
