Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP is seeking a healthcare-focused Managing Director to lead healthcare M&A due diligence for deals across the US, with flexibility to sit in multiple offices or remote for the right resource. You will guide buy-side and sell-side engagements, interact with client executives, and oversee teams from start to finish.

The role requires 15+ years in professional services with healthcare diligence, strong GAAP/Data analysis, and PE experience; travel <15% is expected. A CPA/CFA is preferred, and a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance is required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years professional services experience with 10+ years healthcare diligence experience
• Strong GAAP, data analysis/mining and critical thinking skills
• Experience working with Private Equity groups preferred
• Willingness to travel as needed (<15%)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage healthcare buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements
• Develop relationships with clients and engage with target company executives
• Perform quality of earnings and working capital analyses
• Identify factors impacting enterprise value and purchase/sales price
• Identify financial and operational trends of target companies
• Communicate due diligence findings clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Supervise multiple professionals and lead engagements from inception to completion
• Participate in performance reviews and new business development activities
