Job summary

The Health Law Associate Attorney role focuses on sophisticated healthcare M&A transactions within a nationally recognized transactional practice. Ideal candidates bring strong mergers and acquisitions experience and desire to work in a collaborative, partnership-track environment serving healthcare providers, investors, and industry participants.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience handling complex M&A transactions within healthcare.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on healthcare mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint venture transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of transaction documents.
• Conduct and manage legal due diligence, preparing reports and identifying key transactional risks.
• Coordinate all stages of the deal process from inception through closing.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and transaction teams.
• Lead smaller transactions independently while managing designated workstreams on larger deals.
• Supervise and coordinate deal team members and specialist advisors throughout the transaction process.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to deliver practical, commercially focused legal advice.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
