Job summary

Vista Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center in Lewisville, TX is hiring a full-time Laundry Aide to support daily department operations under the Laundry Supervisor. You will manage linen prep, labeling, stock replenishment, and record production and inventory while following infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand instructions.
• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day and lift at least 25 pounds.
• On-the-job training provided and equipment learning required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
• Work well with team members.
• Follow proper infection control protocols.
• Label or mark personal articles of clothing with identifying information.
• Record production and inventory information (pounds of laundry, loads, etc.).
• Prepare linen and supply orders to meet established par levels as directed by the Laundry Supervisor.
• Attend department and staff meetings as directed.
• Perform tasks per daily work assignments and non-routine tasks as directed.
• Perform tasks in accordance with established laundry procedures and facility policies.
