ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists is hiring a Production Associate in Connecticut. Earn $17.00 per hour on a 1st shift from 5:00am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves sorting, loading, laundering, and packing linens in a healthcare laundry plant with a focus on infection prevention.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean workspace, following safety rules, and adhering to quality standards. Spanish language ability is a plus; 401(k) and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Two valid forms of identification required at hire.
• Able to stand for the duration of the shift and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linen and garments by product type.
• Prepare and load clean products for delivery according to route needs.
• Launder medical, hospitality, and food/beverage garments and linens.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace during the shift.
• Handle and package items following infection prevention practices.
• Inspect linens and package per quality and efficiency standards prior to finishing.
• Operate equipment and decontaminate work areas per OSHA standards.
• Ensure Lock-out/Tag-out policies are followed.
• Support company safety training and SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
