Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment safely, sort and distribute items, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and positive interactions with residents and staff. Training is provided, and there is potential for career growth within HCSG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies; residency within service area may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
