Job summary

Priority Management is seeking a full-time laundry aide at Ridgecrest Retirement and Healthcare Community in Waco, TX. You will perform day-to-day laundry department duties, follow procedures, and participate in training to ensure clean linens and supplies meet par levels.

Excellent time management, teamwork, and infection control practices are essential. On-site role with on-the-job training and safety measures provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand instructions.
• Maintain the care and use of supplies.
• Move intermittently throughout the day.
• Push/pull/move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a height of 5 feet and carry weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Learn equipment to wash and dry linen and safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
• Work well with team members.
• Follow proper infection control protocols.
• Label or mark personal articles of clothing (blankets, sweaters, etc.) with identifying information.
• Record production and inventory information (pounds, loads, etc.) per facility policies.
• Prepare linen and supply orders to meet established par levels.
• Attend department and staff meetings as directed.
• Perform daily tasks and non-routine assignments as directed.
• Perform tasks in accordance with established laundry procedures and facility policies.
