Job summary

Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a dedicated and reliable Laundry Aide to join our environmental services team part-time. You will maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents by managing facility linens and personal clothing.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, ironing linens and resident clothing; delivering clean laundry to resident rooms; operating commercial machines; treating stains; keeping laundry areas organized and sanitary; and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Strong attention to detail and respect for resident privacy and property.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron facility linens and resident clothing.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms and designated storage areas promptly.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers safely according to instructions.
• Sort and treat stained items with appropriate cleaning agents.
• Maintain organized, stocked, and sanitary laundry rooms and carts.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and hazardous communication policies.
