Job summary

Scale AI is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineering Lead for Healthcare & Life Sciences in New York. You will manage a 3–5 person team, own strategic healthcare accounts, and set the technical bar for regulated deployments, including PHI handling and HIPAA compliance.

You will build repeatable playbooks and work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive production deployments. You will partner with account executives and GTM leadership to shape pilots, deliver hands-on demos,

Qualifications

Strong engineering background with customer-facing technical experience.
Experience leading or mentoring technical contributors.
Direct experience selling/building/deploying software in healthcare or life sciences.
Excellent presentation skills to clinicians and executives.

Responsibilities

Manage, coach, and grow a team of 3 to 5 Solutions Engineers.
Own the technical win on strategic healthcare & life sciences accounts.
Build the vertical's technical playbook: architectures, demos, evaluation frameworks.
Serve as domain authority on deploying GenAI under healthcare constraints (PHI, HIPAA).
Partner with AEs and GTM leadership on account strategy and pilot scoping.
Collaborate with Software/ML Engineers to move from design to early implementation.
Provide input to Product and Engineering to influence the vertical roadmap.
