This position reports to the Director of Business and Workforce Development.The instructor is responsible for effectively teaching the Healthcare programs operating within Workforce Development, creating an ideal learning environment, maintaining an appropriate balance of discipline, and being able to transfer knowledge to students, while staying abreast of evolving regulations within the industry.Day-to-day responsibilities:* Provides a teaching environment (lecture, group, or individual) targeting a diverse population resulting in earning appropriate industry certifications. Educates and trains students to gain skills necessary to be successful in the appropriate healthcare field and meet established goals related to student performance.* Provides clinical instructional support for students. Provides administrative support for course logistics (i.e. scheduling and curriculum development) and oversight of student support services (e.g. advisement, orientation, job placement).* Assists when needed in the recruitment of students, marketing the program, and identifying community partnership and funding opportunities. Works with the Director of Business and Workforce Development and Workforce Service Managers to coordinate the maintenance of student performance profiles and other audit records.**Who We’re Looking For** We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success.
