Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment and ensure timely distribution to residents and staff.

The role emphasizes infection control, safety, and positive interactions with residents. Prior laundry experience is preferred but not required; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
