Job summary

Accolade Healthcare is seeking a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. You will work under the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure hygiene standards are met and residents experience a high-quality living environment.

Responsibilities include following cleaning schedules, performing laundry tasks, and maintaining floors and fixtures. The role requires English proficiency and may prefer supervisory experience in housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with staff and residents.
• Minimum of 2 years housekeeping supervisory experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules outlined by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Report accidents and incidents to supervisor.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish fixtures and surfaces.
• Wash and maintain laundry.
• Clean floors daily and perform mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting.
• Dispose of waste and reline trash receptacles with liners.
• Follow safety precautions when using equipment and chemicals.
• Use PPE when handling infectious materials, hazardous wastes, or chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
