Accolade Healthcare is seeking a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. You will work under the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure compliance with standards, including cleaning schedules and proper handling of laundry.

Qualifications

• The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning mixing of cleaning compounds and solutions.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel and handle residents appropriately at their current maturity level.
• Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules outlined by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Report accidents and incidents to your supervisor.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish fixtures, ledges, and room surfaces.
• Wash, sanitize, and maintain laundry.
• Clean floors daily: sweep, dust, mop, buff, and disinfect.
• Dispose of waste/trash per procedures and relinetrate trash bins.
• Use PPE when handling infectious materials or chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
