Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Tennessee is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform day-to-day laundry services, ensuring patients' laundry needs are met in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

You'll sort, iron, fold, and distribute laundry, provide courteous service to patients, and work as part of an interdisciplinary team while maintaining safety, sanitation, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior health care experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Follow Life Care policies and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day laundry functions including collecting, sorting, ironing, folding, stacking, hanging, and distributing.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
