Healthcare lab assistants support educational laboratory experiences for students enrolled in PVCC healthcare programs. Working under the guidance of healthcare faculty and the Healthcare Lab Manager, lab assistants prepare and maintain a variety of laboratory environments in which healthcare skills are demonstrated and practiced. A significant component of the position involves organizing, maintaining, and managing an extensive inventory of healthcare supplies and equipment.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
