Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a Food Service Utility Worker to keep our healthcare kitchen clean, safe, and running smoothly at Residence at Back Bay (Taylor).

You'll assist with basic kitchen tasks, sanitation, and supplies, supporting the team to deliver nutritious meals. The role covers work at Sugar Hill and Residence at Back Bay for about 25 hours per week. English literacy and ability to lift 40 lbs are required; prior food service or janitorial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Certifications: Food Handling certification preferred but not required.
• Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies: Speak and read English; Some experience helpful; Be able to lift 40 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food prep areas and surfaces.
• Take out trash and keep storage areas organized.
• Assist with food deliveries and supply stocking.
• Help the team with basic kitchen tasks when needed.
• Work efficiently and take pride in cleanliness.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines with care.
