Job summary

St. Barnabas Health System is seeking a Dishwasher for The Village at St. Barnabas. You will support daily kitchen operations, cleaning and sanitation, and safe handling of dishware in a dynamic healthcare dining environment. Roles are available as full-time or part-time with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to move at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
• Must be able to navigate/move about the facility and kitchen area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning and sanitation of all incoming dishes, pots, silverware, and pans.
• Participate in cleaning of kitchen and dining areas.
• Operate a commercial dishwashing machine safely.
• Sweep and mop kitchen, cooler, and dish room floors each shift.
• Take out all trash and discarded cardboard to dumpster area each shift.
• Complete cleaning and organizational duties on time and accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with team members and other staff.
